mid-life crisis?

As I was fixing dinner, and chatting with my husband about the day. This is how the conversation turned.

Steve: "Well, I was reading the obituaries today.."

I give a questioning look, and raise an eye brow.

He continues, "Once you turn 40, it is something that you are just obligated to do."

Is 40 the new 80?
