Rides vs. Characters vs. Shopping

With 4 kids of various ages, the hardest part about Disneyland was figuring out what everyone would enjoy. Maggie=characters. Luke=Big kid rides and shopping. Peter=trains and the winnie the pooh store. Rachel=just wanting out of the stroller. So how did we decide? That's right, Mom and Dad choose.
We played hard everyday. We would hit Disneyland early and play till 2. Then a quick lunch and off to the beach. Then back to Disneyland at night. Exhausting but everyone slept through the night (amazing when you think 6 people in a tiny room!)
The beach was warm and relaxing, we even saw lots of dolphins!
Our first day at Disneyland Steve and I noticed how many parents were fighting. We swore we would not do that. Even through the exhaustion we came close but held our composure.
I love Disneyland but you pay so much you feel you have to get everything in which leads to tired crying kids, frustrated mom's and dad's and the underlining question...."Is this the happiest place on earth?"
YES! I would still vote YES!
