There was a breeze on the beach ,which made the air a little chilly, but the water was surprisingly warm. I spent the majority of the time chasing the older kids through the waves. The sun was setting and gave a golden orange glow on our faces. Our shadows followed us while reflecting off the water. Maggie and I raced back and forth forever, in calf deep water. Playing tag and jumping over crashing waves.
So many times I wished I had brought my camera. It was an awesome moment, one that I will never forget. Then I thought to myself, that it would never have happened had I brought my camera. I would have been too preoccupied and worried.
This was much needed quality time with my Mags.
