What else?

Could possibly go wrong?

Steve is awesome.  He is trying so hard to make sure we get a date night a couple of times a month.  It is hard to make this happen.  With 4 kids no one wants to watch your kids.  This time he planned in advance--and yes, he had a plan!

First stop was shopping at the outlets in Park City.  We were ready to spend and shop.  But when we arrived the parking lot was empty.  Apparently the power was out and ALL the stores were closed.

O.K.  Next stop, our favorite restaurant in Park City.  The Riverhorse.   Well, what do you know--Closed for Spring Break.  Am I the only one who did not know that basically every restaurant on Main Street Park City closes for Spring, and does not reopen until Summer?  We were disappointed.  Not disappointed enough to stop and get a chocolate covered marshmallow however.

Our next plan was to head back to Kimball Junction where there is a Red Rock Pub.  We like that.  But of course, they too had no power.

What was happening to our wonderful night?  Steve felt so bad he took me to another favorite.  I protested, he insisted.  Tuscany!  I love my husband.  He is so good to me!  He even order calamari for an appetizer!

Then just when you think nothing else could go wrong.....Steve goes get Peter ready for church this morning, and this is what he sees..........

Nope, that is not a washable marker, that is indeed a Sharpie!  He looks proud. Proud to piss off his mom and dad.

Glad the date night turned out great. How weird that everything closes. You'd think they'd get some good traffic all seasons in Park City.

I love the sharpie face. How do you get sharpie off skin??

Luke's comments are the best! No offense to other commentaries.
