Time passed, her gorgeous dark hair turned blonde, and Steve got attached.
But, now mommy is sad. I want a dark haired little girl. At least she still has curls.

What happened?
When Rachel was born, she had jet black hair and an olive complexion. In fact she looked just like a Hispanic baby. Steve had a hard time getting attached to her, and never really wanted to hold her. He would tease me, and tell me that it was the mailman's baby. What is even funnier--our mailman at the time was indeed Hispanic!

Light or dark hair she is stillso stinkin cute!
Her hair is fabulous! Maybe it will darken up when she's an adult and you will have your dark haired daughter. Something to look forward to.
