As we opened the doors to the cabin, we found a familiar site laying on a corner table. People Magazine. My dad has made a habit out of buying this magazine every time they visit the cabin. Everyone loves looking at the guilty pleasure, while relaxing in the mountains.
Luke came up to us with so much enthusiasm and told us that Carrie Underwood was getting married! We informed him that had already happened, it was an older magazine.
"oh, so I guess Lindsay Lohan is already in jail then."
He was so disappointed that he wasn't the one to break the news. LOL! Pop Culture is awesome!
As we drove home we saw a bull moose hanging out in the Weber River. Steve and I climbed big rocks down to the bank, hoping to get a great shot. First my Nikon went dead. We got one shot off my cell phone before it went dead as well. (Have no idea how to get a picture off a cell phone that does not have Internet!) We see a lot of moose. But never in this serene backdrop. How often does this happen, and how often does my camera loose charge? Never!

People magazine is sometimes a guilty pleasure of mine, too. Loved the Luke story. Too bad about the moose. HOPEFULLY you'll get another chance!
